The WellU healthy campus initiative was launched by the College of St. Scholastica to promote campus health awareness, specifically with the faculty and staff of the College. I was contracted to design the website of the campaign, complete with a web application to work hand in hand with a walking program titled Walking to Wellness. The main website was launched in February of 2007, with Walking to Wellness going live March 6 with a user list of 200 members. The website portion has since been replaced by CMS generated content, but the Walking to Wellness web application continues going strong. The primary site was coded with XHTML and CSS, with the web application using Cold Fusion backed by a Microsoft Access Database.
